Identify what you actually like
A reference can appeal because of its spacing, imagery, product grid, navigation, or storytelling. Label the specific elements you find useful instead of asking for a whole store to be copied.
Translate the idea into your brand
Your visual identity, products, and customers should shape the result. A layout that works for a small skincare range may need changes for a fashion catalog with sizes and many collections.
Use content you have the right to use
Bring your own brand assets and product photography, or properly licensed alternatives. Another store’s logo, copy, photography, and code should not be treated as a free asset library.
Create a practical reference brief
Share two or three references, note what you like about each, and explain what you want to avoid. Pair those notes with your product details and the key actions customers should take.
